Athletic Hall of Fame - GO SPARTANS!
Broad Run High School is pleased to announce the establishment of an Athletic Hall of Fame. The purpose of the BRHS Athletic Hall of Fame is to recognize and honor those Broad Run athletes, coaches, administrators, and supporters who excelled in their respective sports or coaching/support roles and who helped to bring honor, recognition, distinction, and excellence to Broad Run by their conduct both on and off the field, or court, of competition. This recognition will help maintain the spirit, pride, and sense of community as well as serving as a historical account of the great athletic traditions of Broad Run High School.
Membership is open to all athletes, coaches, administrators, and contributors from Broad Run High School. Athletes are eligible 10 years after their classes graduation. Coaches and administrators are eligible for nomination beginning five years after they have left Broad Run High School for any reason, or in special circumstances as determined by the Board Members.
To be considered for the Hall of Fame, anyone may submit a nomination form with contact information for the nominee. The nomination form must be submitted to the BRHS Athletic Department by February 1st. Once we receive the nomination form, we will contact the nominee and send them the link for the application packet. The completed application packet is due back to the BRHS Athletic Department by March 15th. Both the nomination form and the application packet can be found BRHS Hall of Fame web page.
We encourage everyone to attend this event to support the nominees, families, BRHS, and the Ashburn community.
A candidate may be nominated for Hall of Fame membership by any member of the community. Formal nomination shall be made using the nomination form and is due to the Athletic Department by February 1st of the current year. Once the nomination form has been received, the athletic department will contact the nominee and send them the links to the application form.
All application forms are to remain confidential, and to be shared among the members of the Board only. Information relating to a nominee's career statistics, records, achievements, etc must be supported by accompanying documentation of sources cited so that the information may be verified independently. All application forms must be received by the athletic department (online or the paperwork) by March 15th of the current year, in order to be considered for induction into that years class.
